DSS denies arresting suspended CBN boss, Godwin Emefiele – The Department of State Security, DSS, has debunked reports claiming it has arrested and detained suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
Shortly after the Presidency issued a statement announcing Emefiele’s suspension, there have been reports claiming he was immediately arrested by the DSS. The security agency has now taken to its Twitter handle to debunk this claim.
