Portable in trouble again! Police accuse singer of punishable unruly conduct towards officers – One of nigeria’s controversial music star, Habeeb Okikiola better known in the entertainment industry as “Portable” is again in the news but this time around, not for the release of any album.

“Portable,” known for his controversial music and acts, has this time around, gotten entangled with the Nigeria Police Force, following a viral video of him “exhibiting irrational behavior and hurling insults at Police Officers carrying out their legal duty.”

Disclosing this on Wednesday, 29 March 2023 via a statement, Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said;

“The action of the singer in the video was unruly and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and incitement of violence against the officers who were detailed to execute a warrant of arrest on him for series of allegations of criminal acts leveled against Mr Portable .” CSP Adejobi.

“Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a Portable is more of nuisance to the society and the entertainment industry who needs to
be straightened out, using the law.” CSP Adejobi stated.

He further noted in the statement that,

“The NPF will take all necessary steps to investigate his actions and ensure that he is prosecuted for any criminal activity he may have committed depending on the severity of the offense.”

The FPRO stressed that,

“the Police will not condone any unruly act, assault or attack on its officers who are on lawful duty. “We need to respect our law enforcement agents”
