NPC Speaks On Postponement Of Training For Enumerators and Supervisors – The management of the National Population Commission (NPC) has released an official statement to dismiss the news trending online that the commission had postponed its ad hoc recruitment training for enumerators and supervisors.
The NPC Director-General, Arin Olanipekun, urged the public to disregard any message saying that the LGA level recruitment training for supervisors and enumerators have been postponed. Arin stated that “the training still stands as earlier announced”.
Similarly, the Director of Census, Olanipekun Evelyn Arinola, described the news about the postponement as fake. In a circular obtained by the naijabasic media team, she said:
“Please ignore any rumors spreading about the postponement of national population commission’s training of LG.A. Supervisors and Enumerators.
“The commission has come along to make such a tragic decision, in that phrase it is totally false.
“Accreditation still remains 11th & 12 April 2023 while training will start on 13th April ends 19th April 2023.
“We are sorry for the inconveniences and we also assure you that the perpetrators of these rumors will be dealt with mercilessly.

“Postponement of Commencement of LGA Level Training:
“1. I am directed to inform you that, sequel to emerging issues concerning the upcoming LGA training that was scheduled to commence on Thursday 13th April 2023, all arrangements should be put on hold till further notice.
“2. Accordingly , states which have already sent out invitations to functionaries should kindly withdraw them and await further directives.
