2022 Headies Awards Will Hold In US
Nigeria’s foremost Hip-Hop music award the Headies Award changes its base of operation for the first time in 15-years as the 2022 Awards is set to be hosted in Atlanta Georgia, in the United States of America.
The show since its inception in 2007 the
awards have always been hosted in Nigeria, be it either in Lagos or Abuja. The Headies music award ceremony is meant to celebrate the success and growth of the Nigerian music industry.
However, this is yet again the western world superiority complex as an award meant to celebrate the Nigerian music artists who are doing great things in Nigeria is set to take place outside Nigeria, not even on the African continent.
